Austin Fox

Austin’s passion for marine life began at 15, when his father became a commercial tropical fish collector. Seeing firsthand how each species has its own unique place on the reef sparked a fascination with the underwater world—and with the ability to responsibly bring a small piece of that world into home and professional aquariums.

Austin began working after school at his family’s pet store, where his interest grew into a passion for the aquarium industry. After high school, he moved away from home but eventually found his way back to the industry, working at a local aquarium store and steadily advancing through the retail side of the business. Over the years, he has worked with several highly respected aquarium shops and gained experience across virtually every part of the trade.

Today, Austin over a decade of combined experience in marine-life collection, wholesale distribution, and aquarium retail to Fox Aquatics. His firsthand understanding of the journey from reef to retailer is at the heart of the company’s commitment to quality marine life, knowledgeable service, and a more personalized approach to wholesale distribution.
